This means that no matter where you are in South Africa, you will only pay for a local call to connect to the internet. This access is however limited to certain account types only (56k analog full internet and ADSL).
The Head Office POP offers additional options not available in other locations. These options include E-Mail Only, Callmore Access, ISDN, ADSL and Multi-link accounts.
The Head Office is located in Jukskei Park, Randburg, Johannesburg. This is very close to Fourways. If you intend to use one of the head office's specialized services
you should be within a 50Km radius of us for the cheapest Telkom phone rates.

The dial-up numbers for the head office POP are (011) 462-8226 and (011) 462-2114. Pretoria users are fortunate in that with the new Telkom pricing structure most of Pretoria is within the 50Km radius. Note: The coverage information only applies to Dial-in accounts making use of our specialized services. All other services, including standard dial-in accounts, are not restricted to a location.

For 99c, yes 99 cents, you can try our dial in service for 7 days. This can be purchased online now by clicking here. This is a full Internet Account without any restrictions. This gives you an ideal opportunity to test the
quality of our service. This trial is available nation wide.

Mail/Internet Gateway:
Internet gateways are ideal for small to medium businesses who are tired of trying to maintain who knows how many
dial-in accounts on as many computers. The Telkom costs associated with running many individual users can also
become excessively high. This is where Internet Gateways come to the rescue. They offer a single point of access to Netlab
that is shared with all users within the organisation. Gateways often incorporate a mail server. This allows internal
emails to flow instantaneously but queues external mail. The external mail is sent and picked up at specific times
greatly reducing Telkom charges. Netlab can configure a gateway for you with the above features and many more. If you
use one of Netlabs gateways then we will be able to remotely administer the gateway, this we offer free of charge.
An ideal solution for a business that needs internet connectivity but do not want the hassle of maintaining the systems.

SMTP Spooling:
If you wish to run your mail server off a dial-in connection then this option is for you. Once your domain is registered
we will queue all mail destined to your domain on our SMTP Relay. Once your mail server comes online you issue the
ERTN command to Netlabs relay server, it will dump all the mail waiting onto your server. This allows the end
user to add and remove mail accounts on their server without the assistance of Netlab. For this option to work
we will also have to give you a static IP address.

Multi-Link Access: Multi-links allow for more than one modem to be used for the internet connection. The result
is bandwidth equal to the number of modems used multiplied by the speed of the slowest modem. An example would be if you had two 56K modems, each attached to their own phone lines, establishing a multi-link connection. If the first established a connection of 54600 and the second 52000, then the total bandwidth available would be 2 times 52000, 104000bps. Full internet access 24 hours, 7 days a week. Includes a 10 Meg mail box.

coverage map for details. There is no premium for using multi-links to increase your bandwidth but you will require the same number of accounts as modems that you wish to use in the multi-link.
